Honeybaked Ham, Maggiano's and Skyline

What do you get when you put three mouth-watering favorites together? 200 well-fed golfers!

The HoneyBaked Ham Company has been a lunch sponsor for the Fernside Classic for more than 10 years! Their boxed lunches are not only convenient for golfers to take on the course but they’re also a huge crowd favorite year after year. In the words of the company’s Ohio CEO, Craig Kurz, “We are HONORED to help you again this year.” Craig is a third generation founding family member of The HoneyBaked Ham Co., the nation’s oldest and largest specialty ham retailer. He joined the family business full time in 1984, after spending his entire life learning every aspect of the business. Craig was promoted to CEO of The HoneyBaked Ham Co. of Ohio in 1996.

Maggiano’s has also been a dinner sponsor of the Fernside Classic for more than a decade. One of our longtime Classic Committee members, Stacey Meyer, approached her contact at Maggiano’s to ask if they would be willing to make a dinner donation and they said yes! What could be better than coming off the course to a hot pasta dinner? Maggiano’s generosity has continued through the years and we couldn’t be more grateful for their partnership.

Skyline Chili is a hometown favorite around Cincinnati and so is the Misleh family. Steve Misleh, VP and Mike Misleh, President/Partner own and operate several locations including the two in Montgomery and Oakley. Their parents started in the industry in 1962 and it’s truly a family business with their children and grandchildren involved. As Steve shared, their parents taught them to “love what you do” and he wants us to love what they do as well! We do! Not only do our golfers appreciate a cheese-covered three-way or coney before they tee off, we appreciate having their support since 2010.

Thank you to all three of our lunch and dinner sponsors. Your donation to our annual fundraiser, The Fernside Classic, ensures not only the success of our event but also means more money goes to our programs that serve hundreds of grieving children and families in our community each year.
